When you think it wasn't that long ago the NFL was shutting down Super Bowl parties in Las Vegas if they charged and restricted how big a TV the game could be put on to where we are now.
Can you imagine Pete Rozelle or Paul Tagliblue licensing an NFL slot machine with NFL team logos. They are still suspending players for using sports wagering apps on the premises. This is actually
a huge step in the NFL. They are really protective of the shield. There are no other league branded slot machines in casinos. Most likely the NBA would be next. You could voice retired players on
the slot. How about Magic Johnson encouraging you to score a basket in the bonus portion of game. Or show highlights of a game on a video screen. This is just the start. I can see someone like
Joe Montana who will do anything to generate income agreeing to his name and likeness on a machine.

The NFL is the biggest hypocrites you will ever find

As you eluded to they always distance themselves from gambling and sports betting

Now look at them

Not only will the machines have NFL logos. The rep said the team you select will play music from the city. In the Eagles case Fly Eagles Fly or maybe the theme from Rocky. Fly Eagles Fly will cost less to license than the Rocky theme. I'll be interested to hear which song they chose.
